The Alliance for Grassland Renewal is a partnership between seed and related industry companies, universities, non-profits and other interested parties. The goal of the organization is to support the appropriate adoption of novel endophyte technology through promotion, education, incentives and quality control. This unique collaboration is starting to make a big impact on the management of tall fescue and associated fescue toxicosis, which is a big deal in much of the mid-west, southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US.
To help support the efforts of the group we have launched a new website thanks to the development efforts of our Workshop Manager, Krista Lea. Krista had been a great addition to the Alliance and the new website will be just one of her many contributions. Some sections of the website are still under construction but when fully populated the website will house current and past editions of our blog and newsletter, a contact page, a photo gallery of pasture renovation practices, new educational resources including success stories, planting recommendations, and descriptions of the novel endophyte tall fescue varieties currently being tested for the marketplace by the Alliance.
